Nicholas and Joanne

Nicholas and Joanne were married on the 26th of August 2010.
Upon arrival at Orchard View it was all go as the ladies were busy with Hair and make up.
Not that they needed any as they were all looking fantastic.
After a short photo session and a TWIRL! we headed off to the church at 1.30pm where Nicholas and the guys were waiting.
Fr. Belton was on hand to welcome the guests and at just after 1.45 our bride arrived.
At just after 2.45 the new Mr and Mrs Potgieter exited the church.
Just a short hop to the hotel the magnificient Druids Glen where marie and her staff were at the reception the meet the guests.
At 5.30pm we entered the reception and enjoyed a hearty beef dinner. Our master of ceremonies, Barry led us through the sometime’s funny, emonitional and well crafted speeches. Well done Barry.
Our entertainment for the evening was not provided by our DJ (who did a great job) but by Joanne who first treated us to a Dance “master class” with her father and then a quick lesson in the art of Irish Dancing. Well done Joanne.

Frank and Sharon

Frank and Sharon Daly were married at Mell church in Drogheda on the 14th of Aug 2010.
When I arrived at number 157 I was met by a flurry of activity with the four bridesmaids and bride getting hair and make up done.
Our make up girl had had an easy job today as these ladies were already lovely.
After a few twists and twirls! in the garden we set off for Mell church.
Frank and the lads were inside waiting with over 130 guests. At 1.15pm our bride marched up the Aisle and the ceremony began.
At just after 2.30pm the new Mr and Mrs Daly exited the church and made tracks for the ‘Station House Hotel’ in Killmessen.
Our photographer ‘Eddie Caffrey” made full use of the spectacular garden at the venue.
At just after 6.30pm we headed for the reception room where after a fine meal our bestman Philip Daly began the speeches. Well done Philip.
Our entertainment was provided by the very popular “The Ememies” who were a big hit with the crowd.

Larry and Ann Marie

Larry and Ann Marie were married in the Church of the Assumption in Balscadden on the 7th of Aug 2010.
Upon arrival at “Moatview” it was all go as the ladies were busy applying make up and Ann Marie doing the hairs.
At just after 1pm all was ready. The girls look fab.
Meanwhile over at the church, Larry the guys and over 120 guests were waiting.
Fr.Malcom was there to greet the guests.
As the clock struck 2pm the bridal party arrived. Dad looked proud walking Ann Marie up the aisle.
At just after 3pm the new Mr and Mrs Fay exited the church and began the journey to the Elegant ‘Boyne valley” hotel.
After a drinks reception we made for the Ballroom where bestman Paul Carroll was on hand to guide us through the speeches. Well done Paul.
Our entertainment for the evening was provided by the band “Upsidedown” but judging by the dance floor it was the ladies who took control of the floor and rocked the night away, (see video clip).

Bryan and Ann

Bryan and Ann Marie were married in St.Endas church in Killanny on the 2th of Aug 2010.
Upon arrival at 37 Loughross Road the house was a hive of activity.
Hair and make up were almost done.
The lads were just finishing getting their hair done. This bridal party made sure everyone looked great. Well done lads.
At 1.15pm we set off for the church where Bryan and the lads were waiting.
Over 300 guests were packed into the church when the girls arrives.
After a sometime very nice ceremony by Fr.Jimmy Mc Philips we set off to the Nuremore hotel where Patricia and staff were on hand to meet all the guests.
Our bestman, Martin Oliver rose to his feet at 6pm and brought us through a selection of speeches with great gusto. Well done martin.
Out entertainment for the evening was provided by “Corn of the Barley’ who had the crowd doing “Gigs and Reels” all night.

Mark and Andrea

Mark and Andrea Shinners were married in St.Johns church in Killenard on the 30th of July 2010.
When I arrived at the Heritage Hotel it was straight up to the bridal suite where the girls were applying the make up and doing the hair.
All looked immaculate.
Meanwhile down at the church the guys were waiting. Fr.Moran was there to greet the guests.
At 2pm the bridal party arrived.
It was a beautiful ceremony with some great singing.
Shortly after we left for the hotel.
A piano bar was layed on and the evening went off delightfully.
The band for the evening was “The hit connection” who rocked the night away till the wee small hours.

PJ and Amanda

PJ and Amanda were married in St.Martins church in Tallaght on the 31st of July 2010.
It was all go at number 15 when I arrived.
The bride was looking especially beautiful.
The bridesmaids looked stunning too.
At 2pm we began the short journey to St.Martins where PJ and the gang were waiting.
After a nice ceremony by Fr.Flemming it was off to the Rose garden opposite the Avoca center for the photo shoot.
Boy, can these people dance, (see video).
At 4pm we arrived at the Osprey hotel where Norman and staff were on hand to greet the couple.
Our master of ceremonies, Jason rose to his feet at 6pm to began the speeches and did so brilliantly. Well done Jay.
At 9.20pm the entertainment for the evening began with a set by “Celtic Thyme” followed by the absolutely mad “Hee Bee Beegee’s”.
A great day and night.

Stephen and Zarah

Stephen and Zarah were married on the 30th of July at the Brooklodge Hotel in Wicklow.
When I arrived at room 61 the girls were well and truly ready.
Hair and make up was done and just the dresses to be put on.
At 1pm the girls were on the short path to the quaint little church in the grounds.
Stephen and the gang were waiting with Pamela Mc Carthy who would preform the honours.
After a delightful ceremony which included some wonderful poetry read by the mothers of both Stephen and Zarah.
At a little after 3pm we made for the reception room which looked stunning.
Our bestman, John Mc Connell called us to order at just after 6pm and the speeches were underway. Well done John.
Our entertainment for the evening was provided by the vert popular Santoria who rocked the night away till late.

Jonathon and Jennifer

Jonathon and Jennifer Evans were married on the 30th of July at St.Colmcilles church in Swords.
It was raining when I arrived at the bride’s house but when I got inside the ladies were shining.
Hair and make up were nearly complete, just the dresses and we were off to the church.
A short drive to St.Colmcilles church where Jonathon and the guys were waiting.
After a nice ceremony we hopped down to Swords Castle for the photo shoot with our photographer Andrew Miller.
At a little after 4pm we arrived at the Westgrove hotel in Clane where the manager and her staff were on hand to greet the guests.
At 6pm on the dot our master of ceremonies, Brian Pownall rose to his feet and began the speeches.
All n all a great day.

Saurabh and Joyce

Saurabh and Joyce were married in the Church of the Assumption in Tullamore on the 22th of July.
The day started at Joyce’s sisters house house where the boys were busy getting ready for a long and eventful day.
Over at the girls hair and make-up were all done and our bridal party looked stunning.
At just after 1.30pm the ladies made off for the church where Saurabh and the guys were already waiting.
Fr.Martin was on hand to meet the guests and at just after 3pm the couple emerged from the church as Mr and Mrs Bhola.
Off then to the luxury “Sheraton” hotel in Athlone for the reception.
Our bestman Ryan Zents oversaw the speeches with great skill and professionalism.
Our entertainment was provided by DJ Aleem.
Huw and Audrey

Huw and Audrey Anthony were married on the 24th of July at St.Marys church in Enniskerry.
When I arrived at St.Marks it reminded me of “London Fashion Week” such was the level of style and the activity with hair and make-up being done all around.
Dad, john was busy practicing his “Putting” outside in the garden while looked radiant.
At approx 1.15pm the girls left for Enniskerry where Huw and over 180 guests were waiting.
The sun began to shine as our bridal party arrived. Fr.Donal Neerey welcomed them into the church and at just after 3pm the new Mr and Mrs Anthony emerged as a married couple.
Just a short drive to the magnificent “Ritz Carlton hotel” where Thomas and staff greeted the couple.
At 6pm we entered the reception room where our master of ceremonies “Owain” guided us a host of entertaining, witty and sometimes emotional speeches.
Our band struck up the first dance at 10pm and rumours are they are still playing.
