Well we have arrived at last, our last wedding video of the year and we have the pleasure of sharing it with Connor and Suzanne O’Hare and what a wedding it was to see out the year.

The couple were married at The Holy Sprit Church in Greenhill, Co Dublin.

The day began at the Red Cow hotel just around the corner.

Upon arrival at room 329 I was greeted with the offer of a glass of Bubbly !. It was very tempted but it was only 11.30am.

Suzanne was just finishing make-up and was looking fantastic. Mum and the other of the bridal party were also beaming. Well done the girls.

After a short visit to the lads down in room 226 and a traditional Twirl!, it was off to the church.

Over 200 guests had arrived and were packed inside waiting for the ladies. The ladies did not disappoint and duly marched up the aisle at 1pm on the dot.

At a little after 2.15pm we were outside again and heading back to the Red Cow.

Upon arrival at the hotel our photographer for the day Liam and his assistant Kath took control of the lads and ladies and put them through there paces for the photo shoot. Well done Liam and Kath.

Mary and Robbie our Banqueting managers rang the bell at 5pm and we were ushered into the room for the Wedding Dinner.

At approx 6.30pm our best man Gerard O’Hare rose to his feet and guided us through the speeches. A job well done Gerard.

Now for the entertainment which came in three parts.

First we have a dancing display given by the bride and groom during the first dance, Expect to see Connor and Suzanne on ‘Dancing on Ice” shortly!

Then we were Treated (Exposed to) Irelands number 1 comedian ‘Dave Young” who brought the house down,

We were then rocked to our bones by the Fantastic “Chevy’s”, a great swing band.
Well done Connor and Suzanne for putting on and organizing such a great day.

Keith and Sinead Crilly were married on the 29th of December 2011 at St.Cianans church in Duleek.

The very popular village of Duleek was the setting for the wedding of a Very Popular Lady, one Sinead Taaffe.

When I arrived at 8 the Laurels it was all go.

The ladies were busy Beautifying themselves and doing a great job of it. Dad and Craig (AKA Evil Kenevil, don’t worry Craig, Dad will tell you who he is!) were looking cool too.

I made my way to the church at 1.30pm where Keith and the guys were meeting and greeting the guests.

At 2pm the bridal party arrived and proceeded to walk the bride down the aisle.

Fr.John Conlon was on hand to over see the ceremony and at 3pm the church bells rang and a new family was born, The Crilly’s.

At 3.30pm we made our was to Drogheda to the very Hip D hotel where Rory and his team were on hand to meet and greet the party.

Up then to the 6th floor and the Bridal suite balcony for the photo shoot with our photographer Barry McGreevy who had the bridal party “Wind Surfing” (see video clip) for the album.

We were called for the meal at 5.30pm and after a find meal of beef our best man Simon Kennedy rose to his feet and delivered the Speeches.

Our entertainment for the evening was provided by Panic Suite who sang everything from Abba to the Rolling Stones. Great band, well done guys.

Walter and Sabrine Durkan were married on the 28th of December 2011 at The Church of the Annunciation Rathfarnham.

It was a bit breezy and cold when I arrived at Pearse Bros Park but the minute I stepped inside I was greeted by a very radiant and warm bridal party.

The ladies were beaming!.
Hair and make-up was applied , just the twirl and it was off to the church.

The lads were already installed when I got there. Fr.Daly was keeping them settled while the over 160 guests filled the church.

At 12.30 on the dot the ladies arrived and duly marched up the aisle.

After a nice ceremony the new Mr. and Mrs. Durkan exited the church and made for the ‘Quaint” Finnstown Country House for the reception.

After a photo call with our photographer Mark Magahran in the grounds we were called into the main ballroom for the meal.

Our best man for the evening Andrew Durkan rose to his feet at 6pm and guided us through the speeches with great professionalism. Well done Andrew.

Our DJ spun the first disc at 9.30 and rock’ed us till the wee hours.

Damian and Emma McCarthy were married on the 21th of December 2011 at our Ladies Church in Carragh, Co Kildare.

When I arrived at the Magnificent Baberstown Castle in Straffan I was ushered straight to the ‘Earl of Tyrone” suite where I was greeted by a very “Beautiful, elegant and Smiling” bridal party. The ladies looked fantastic and were getting into the party mood!.

After a quick Twirl and transformation by the girls (see Video Clip) it was off to the Church in Carragh.

The guys had already arrived when I got there and were greeting the guests.

At a little after 1.15pm the ladies arrived and promptly marched up the Aisle where Cousin Fr.Dermot was ready to begin the ceremony.

At 2.45pm the new Mr. and Mrs. McCarthy exited the church and headed back to Barberstown Castle for the reception.

At approx 6pm we were called into the main ballroom for the meal and at 8pm on the dot our bestman Barry rose to his feet to guide us through the speeches. Great job Barry, well done.

Our entertainment for the evening begin with DJ Darragh followed by a “Ceilidh” which included “The Siege of Ennis”. (Please see Video Clip to believe!).

All in All a great Irish Wedding.

Kevin and Caroline Conroy were married on the 9th of December 2011 at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Roundfort.

The sun was shining both inside and outside the house when I arrived at Pulbawn.

The ladies were beaming. Hair and makeup already done just a few shots with our photographer, Phil Stratford(you can see more of his work here) and it was off to the church.

The church in Roundfort was packed when I arrived and Kevin and the lads were busy meeting the over 300 guests.

At 12.40pm the ladies arrived and proceeded to march down the aisle.

After a nice ceremony conducted by Fr.Mike Murphy it was into the limos and off to The Castlecourt Hotel in Westport.

At a little after 6pm we were called into the main ballroom for the reception meal.

Our bestman for the evening Tommy Conroy lead us through the speeches and at 10pm on the dot the music began and so did the Dancing coupled by some great fun and games.

Well done Concord our band.

John and Amanda were married at The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Castlecommer Co Kilkenny.

The bridal parties day started at Clonard Road in Crumlin. When our man arrived at Number 52 it was all go.

Hair and make-up were being done upstairs, Dresses and flowers downstairs all under the watchful of Mum.

At approx 12.30pm our Ladies were performing the traditional Twirl! and about to beginning the journey to Castlecomer.

Meanwhile the lads were already at the church meeting and greeting the over 150 guests.

Monsignor Ryan was on hand to steady the lads.
At just after 1.30pm the bridal party arrived and promptly marched down the aisle.

At a little after 2.45pm the new Mr. and Mrs. Smith exited the church.
Off then to the beautiful Hotel Kilkenny for the reception where Ger and his staff were waiting the meet and greet the guests.

At 6pm on the dot we were called into the ballroom were our bestman Alan Smith promptly rose to his feet and guided us through the speeches. Well done Alan.

Our entertainment for the evening was provided by “The Works” who rocked us till the wee hours.

Noel and Pamela Fortune were married on the 19th of Nov 2011 at Kiltale Church Co Meath.

When I arrived at the brides family house on the Trim road it was all hands on deck!.

Make up in the front room and hair and dress fitting in the back. Our bride Pamela was looking fantastic, a real stunner!

After the now traditional Twirl! it was over the road to Kiltale church where Noel and the guys were waiting with the over 200 guests.

At 1.30pm on the dot the bridal party rolled up and at 1.45pm they were marching down the aisle.
Father Barry Condron was on hand to perform the ceremony which was serenaded all the way through by the Dublin Gospel Choir.

At 3.15pm we made our way to Trim Castle for the photo shoot, guided by the very professional David Moore. Do visit David’s site at davidmoorephotography.ie

At 4.30pm we arrived at the one of my favorite wedding venues (and hundreds of brides too) the Hamlet Court hotel in Enfield.

John and Mo were on hand to welcome the bridal party and shortly thereafter we were called in to the Ballroom to begin the reception proper.

Our bestman for the evening Brian led us through the speeches with great Gusto!. Well done Brian.

At 10pm the band struck the first note and we danced till the wee hours.

Iain and Denise Coulter were married on the 12th of November 2011 at St.Mary’s
church in Howth.

My day began at the Portmarnock Links Hotel. The sun was shining and so were
the bridal party when I arrived at room 344.

The girls were busy doing hair
and make up. They looked fabulous.

At a little after 12 noon I arrived at St.Mary’s and the guys were holding fort and welcoming the guests.

Rev.Kevin Brew was on hand to oversee proceedings.

At 1pm on the dot the bridal party arrived and duly marched up the aisle to
some beautiful music.

At 2.15pm the new Mr. and Mrs. Coulter exited the church and headed for
Wicklow to the Magnificent Druids Glen Hotel.

After a quick photo shoot and a Quick driving lesson for the groom with our
excellent photographer Julie Cummins we were called into the main ballroom
for the meal.

Our bestman Aengus Coulter then rose to his feet and guided us through our
speeches. Well done Aengus.

Our entertainment for the evening was provided by “Perfect Day” who by all
accounts were perfect.

We were also treated to a display of Irish dancing by
the Bride’s  Neice, Amy. Well done Amy.

Morgan and Carolyn O’Brien were married on the 5th of Nov 2011 at Sligo Cathedral.

Upon arrival in “Yeats Country” on a beautiful Winter’s day it was clear to me this was going to be a real country wedding.

The over 150 guests were arriving early to get a good seat at the proceedings. The Groomsman were at the alter by 1pm. All was in place at 1.30pm when the Ladies arrived to add the ‘Sparkle” to the event.

At approx 1.45pm the bridal party marched up the Aisle and the ceremony got under way.

Fr.Pat Lombard was on hand to guide the couple through the ceremony and at 2.55 pm the new Mr. and Mrs. O’Brien exited the church as a married couple.

Off then to Kew Due Pier for the photo shoot which turned out to be a Master Class in ‘Balancing”.
Our professional Photographer Aileen Kennedy was on hand though and made sure we remained dry. Well done Aileen!

Off then to the magnificent ‘Kilronan Castle” (The seat of the Earl of Leitrim) for the reception.

A 6pm on the dot we were called into the main ballroom the begin the feast.

Our bestman Diarmaid rose to his feet at 8pm and guided us through some very hearty speeches. Well done Diarmaid, you did a great job.

Our entertainment for the evening was provide by my old friends ‘Little Creatures” who rocked the night away.

Karol and Suzanne Murray were married on the 22th of October at Ballintubbey Abbey in Mayo.

When I arrived in my favourite county Mayo it was raining.

When I stepped inside the Bridal House though, all was beaming. The girls looked fab, and so did the men.

Suzanne looked fantastic in her wedding dress and the bridesmaids equally great.

At approx 12 noon we left the house and headed for “Ballintubbey Abbey” where Karol and the over 300 guests had assembled for the ceremony.

At 1pm on the dot the Ladies arrived and promptly marched down the aisle.

After a nice ceremony which included some lovely singing we exited the church into beautiful sunshine. Our photographer, my good friend Phillip Stratford took no time in setting us up for the photo shoot. Highly professional as ever , well done Phil.

At 4pm we arrived at the magnificent ‘Breaffy House hotel in Castlebar to begin the reception.
Just after the meal our best man rose to his feet and guided us through the speeches.

Our entertainment for the evening was “Keith McDonnell” and his band who rocked us till the wee hours.
