John and Shirley Flanagan were married on the 30th of April 2010 at St.Brendans church in Birr.
Our man arrived at Lusmagh in Banagher at approx 12pm and by all accounts it was all go as the ladies suited up and got the make-up on.
At 1pm all were ready and it was off to St.Brendans where John and the gang were waiting.
Rev.Wayne Carney was on hand to welcome the bridal party and at 1.45 pm they were walking up the aisle.
At 2.45 the couple left the church as Mr. and Mrs. Flanagan. After a quick photo call the wedding party began the journey to the Impressive “Sheraton” hotel in Athlone.
At just before 7.30pm Aidan Flanagan tipped his glass and began the speeches.
At 10pm our entertainment for the evening .”The Weightless Astronauts” blasted off with a great set of rock”n” roll and swing time sets. A great night for all.

John, you’ll have to learn that I wont now be always around to clean up after you, iron your shirts and put polish on your hair….remember you are in a different time zone while your on honeymoon…4am is a bit early for me to be taking calls.
Shirley best of luck with him – don’t over excite him be gentle with him initially but give him hell after a couple of days…he has been a bit spoilt. You must allow a small time for the transistion though …it wont be easy but once you get him into a routine he’s not so bad.
Best of luck to ye both – enjoy the honeymoon and heh bring us some something nice !!!!! like a baby……………………………….TOY maybe !!:)

To Mr & Mrs Flanahunt, thank you both for a great day and indeed great weekend. Shirley, you looked amazing, as did you John. I know you were delayed in getting on honeymoon, but i know it will be fantastic from here on in! John & Shirley, We were sorry to miss your big day, but Mam had a great time staying up until 3AM! Hope ye got out of Dublin OK! Have a wonderful time and we hope to catch up with ye somewhere at some stage. Mam quoted Sean’s speech – Powerful stuff …. Going to watch the video tomorrow – Broadband very slow this evening!
