Richard and Maria Wykes were married on the 1st of October 2011 at St.Nicolas
church in Dundalk.
It was raining when I arrived at Number 52 O’Hanlon Park but inside the
Girls were Beaming Bright with beauty.
Hair and make up done , just the dress and the now famous twirl and it was
off to the church.
Over at the church, Richard and the guys were meeting and greeting the over
150 guests who turned up.
At 1pm on the dot the bridal party arrived and a few minutes later the girls
were marching down the aisle.
At 2.15 pm the new Mr. and Mrs. Wykes exited the church and headed for the
Fairways hotel.
At the hotel Billy Kelly and his staff were on hand to meet the couple and
at 4.45pm we were called into the main ballroom to begin the reception
proper.
Shortly there after Christopher our bestman rose to his feet and guided us
through the speeches.
Well done Chris.
Our entertainment for the evening was provided by the well know ‘Rob Strong
Band” who rock’ed till the wee hours.
