Liam and Niamh

Liam and Niamh Redden were married on the 30th of March 2012 at the Sacred Heart Church in Laytown.
Just a short hop down to Lusk for me to the brides house where I was meet with a flurry of activity.
Hair and make up been applied, dresses at the ready and a bridal party looking fab.
Just the twirl and its off to Laytown where the lads and Fr.McNelis were waiting with the guest to meet the bridal party.

The Girls did not disappoint and at 1.40pm they marched down the Aisle to begin the ceremony.
At 2.45pm the new Mr. and Mrs. Redden exited the church and headed for the beach for the photo session with my good friend, the very professional Photographer Denise Cannon. Visit Denise’s web site here: www.designworksphoto.com
At 3.30pm we made our way the the magnificent ‘Darver Castle” near Drogheda.

Now at this point I want to add a note about this venue. I spend my year visiting and working in hotels around the country whether its a wedding or for RTE. If its in Ireland, I have stayed in it.
I don’t normally say this , but when you come across something that grabs you! you have to say it.
This hotel has the following attributes:
LOCATION: EXCELLENT.
SERVICE: EXCELLENT.
ATTITUDE TO CUSTOMERS: EXCELLENT.
FREINDLNESS: EXCELLENT.
FOOD: EXCELLENT.

I say and meant this with great delight as I thought that professionalism had all but vanished from Irish hotels. The Banqueting Manager Trevor was so highly trained the `”Brennan’s” (RTES At Your Service) could learn from this guy. I also include all the other staff who could not do enough for the guests.
ALL OTHER HOTEL IN IRELAND TAKE NOTE.
Anyway back to the wedding. Shortly after we were called into the main ballroom our bestman Alan O’Gorman led us through the speeches. Well done Alan.
Our entertainment for the evening was provided by “The Enemies” who rock and rolled till the wee hours.
Please leave a message below for Liam and Niamh to read while on honeymoon.
All our good wishes to Liam and Niamh.
