James and Liz Farrell were married on the 8th of June 2012 at the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne Co Meath.
The wind was howling and the rain was lashing down when I arrived at the Pillo Hotel on Friday. It was like an autumn day.
Not so when I arrived at room 302 on the third floor where one beautiful bride and three bridesmaids and mum were busy getting hair and make up applied. They really brightened up the day.
A quick Twirl and we were ready.
Down on the ground floor James and the lads were welcoming the over 150 guests who were arriving.
At 3.30pm on the dot the ladies were marching up the Aisle and so the ceremony began. The ceremony was held in Candle light and this really added to the occasion, a great touch. Well done Liz.
After a quick photo call with our photographers Theresa Moynes and Miraid Murray (Two very pleasant and courteous Ladies) we proceeded to the main ballroom for the meal.
Just before the meal our bestman Paul Byrne rose to his feet and guided us through the speeches. Well done Paul a true professional Speaker. (Mick Wallace Look Out!).
At a little after 10pm our band turned down the lights and hit the first of many notes.
